Health First’s Nursing Aid is a concentrated, 5:1 extract of organic fenugreek and organic blessed thistle, used in herbal medicine as a galactagogue to help increase milk supply in nursing mothers. These two herbs are rich in saponins, vitamins and minerals, providing additional nourishment and digestive support for new moms, as well as help keeping blood sugar balanced and lowering cholesterol levels in cases of hyperlipidemia.

Medicinal Ingredients

Each vegetable capsule contains
Fenugreek (Trigonella foenum-graecum, seed)*: 425 mg
5:1 extract, equiv. to 2,125 mg
Blessed thistle (Cnicus benedictus, herb tops)*: 75 mg
5:1 extract, equiv. to 375 mg
*Certified organic

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Maltodextrin*, vegetable capsule shell (hypromellose).

Dosage

Adults - Take 1 capsule, twice daily on an empty stomach.

Do not use if you are pregnant or if you are allergic to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae/Daisy family. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding or if you have diabetes. Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
