Recommended Use

Used in herbal medicine to help fight off infections, especially of the upper respiratory tract. Supportive therapy in the treatment of upper respiratory infections (e.g., common colds). Helps relieve the symptoms and shorten the duration of upper respiratory tract infections.

Dosage

Recommended adult dose: 1 softgel 3 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. For acute needs, 1 softgel every 2–3 hours up to 4 times daily or as directed by a health care practitioner. Take at the first sign of infection. To avoid digestive upset, take with food. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks.

Caution

Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are breastfeeding, taking immunosuppressants, have a progressive systemic disease such as tuberculosis, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, an immune system or an auto-immune disorder. Dizziness, irritated skin, rash, nausea, and diarrhea have been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Stop use if hypersensitivity/allergy occurs. Rare cases of severe allergic reactions have been known to occur; use caution if you are allergic to plants in the daisy family. Keep out of the reach of children.
